London is one of my favorite cities in the world! Anytime I visit I find new places to discover alongside those spots that I just can’t miss revisiting! But I have never been there at Christmastime – something I hope to fix soon!
London looks so magical at Christmas – from the decorations, entertainment, and all around good-cheer, there is something for everyone to enjoy this time of year. Here are some items on my bucket list to see and do:
Shopping under the lights on Oxford Street and admiring the windows at Selfridges.
Hearing the carols at Royal Albert Hall or St Martin’s.
Checking out the numerous Christmas Markets – not sure which I would go to first Leicester Square or King’s Cross!
Walking the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew and enjoying the winter wonderland!
Buying a Christmas basket at Fortnum & Mason.
Attending the Christmas Actually variety show at the Southbank Centre Winter Festival.
Doing some ice skating at Somerset House or in Hyde Park.
Grabbing a pint at Churchill Arms and check out their decorations!
Marveling at the tree in Covent Garden.
Jumping on an open-top bus for a Christmas Lights Tour and/or a river cruise down the Thames.
There is just so much Christmas magic to be had – I better get planning! Want to visit London too? We can help!
