Holidays in the Theme Parks: SeaWorld

Continuing with my family’s holiday tour of the Orlando theme parks, today we are vising SeaWorld. This time of year is extra special at the park – it is transformed into a winter wonderland sparkling with millions of beautiful lights, there are special shows, and the food selections are amazing! Here are some of my favorite things to see and do!

I always love the shows at SeaWorld, but during the holidays they really kick it up a notch. Big Bird tells stories in his nest, elves gather and share some classic tales, Elmo and his friends put on a holiday show, and you can’t miss Mrs. Claus’ Magic Kitchen. This hilarious cooking show spills all the North Pole’s secrets!

When the sun sets, the festivities really come to life. The Sesame Street Parade makes you want to get up and dance. The snow flurries on the Waterfront and the Sea of Trees on the lagoon really put you into the holiday spirit. You can meet Santa and Rudolph, there is a wonderful ice-skating show, and the evening ends with fantastic fireworks display that lights up the sky.

And did I mention the food? From cookies, and drinks to more hardy fare, there are eighteen different holiday food booths to choose from. You will definitely not go hungry!

SeaWorld is one of our favorite parks to celebrate the season, and the festivities continue through January 2nd.
